Property Valuation

Probate has been granted on an estate. There are two beneficiaries. One beneficiary is having a property transferred/appropriated to them as part of their half of the inheritance. Is the value of this property the same as it was for probate or is it revalued now that probate has been granted? If so is this new valuation done by an estate agent or a chartered surveyor? Can the beneficiaries request that it be done by a chartered surveyor as this is more legally binding?

The only fair way is to have a valuation made by a RICS or similar. This should be used forbprobate as well.0
