Hello All,
I was wondering whether anyone knew of a good insurer for SORN vehicles?
I am buying a new car but won't be driving it until I pass my test, what is my best option to make sure it is covered against theft or fire etc?
Thanks.

It will, I presume, be kept off the road on private land?
Why not just buy it when you're going to start using it?0 -

Unless you're planning on learning using it, with full insurance, or it's too good a deal to pass up (like a family member giving you it for under trade value), then it's probably a much wiser plan to just buy a car after you pass - that way you're not paying insurance for it and having it sit unused depreciating indefinitely.0 -
I can't understand why you would buy a new car before passing your test.
I would suggest you pay a deposit and ask dealer to keep it for you until you have passed."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
