Does anyone know of restrictions on the 20 debit card transactions a month? I've read mixed opinion on if they can be from the same retailers (so I could just buy a sandwich every morning at work) or if you need 20 unique retailers?
The offer Ts & Cs make no mention of a requirement for 20 different retailers, just 20 payments, do you have any links for opinions that differ from what TSB publish?

    It says:

£5 Cashback on debit card transactions
2.1 Customers must make at least 20 payments using their debit card (this includes online and mail order purchases, as well a in-store purchases including contactless, Apple Pay™ and Android Pay™) each calendar month to earn £5 cash back.

hi have just opened a tsb account for the free £130, however I cant switch my current account right now from RBS as I'm waiting for a direct debit to register, how do I then switch when this direct debit is added to my account, will there be an option in the internet banking or something?

TSB's online switching form can be accessed from within online banking or directly outside of this too: https://secure.form.tsb.co.uk/application/account_transfer.asp

Bare in mind a DD won't show on your RBS online banking until its first collected.

I have a TSB Classic Plus Account. I used to love it's 5 percent interest on up to £2000. I used to have a TSB Regular Saver which gave me 5% interest. Now I can only get 3% interest up to £1500. I don't want to have the TSB Regular Saver anymore because it now pays 2% interest. I wish I could get rid of my TSB Classic Account and start if up again.

I am in the same situation, no longer eligible for their newbie offers. I'm sure when TSB started they were saying that this is the kind of thing they were not going to be doing.

I kept my TSB account for paying bills, but opened a new account with the Bank of Scotland for spending as it seems more "long term" than TSB's offering.

It pays 2% interest and has Everyday Offers, which seems to be good, and useful. It's supposed to be tailored to what you actually spend, and things you may like to try. My account is new so they don't have a history for me yet, but at the moment I get 5% back on spending at Morrisons, 10% at Subway. I looked at my fiance's and it has more - New Look, Jamies Italian, Q Park, Next, among others, so offers do vary and could be worth while. The Bank of Scotland also has the linked Monthly Saver at 2% as well.
