Band A (nil) road tax....

We've purchased a new (to us) 2015 plate car today, which we will be picking up in a few days.
The road tax band is A, i.e. nil - do we need to do anything regarding this even though it is nil?

You still need to apply for VED on the vehicle in your name as the RK. Otherwise the vehicle will be considered unlicensed.0

Yes, you still have to go through the motions, the fact that the cost is zero is immaterial. Seems pointless but thems the rules.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
