Hi Everyone,
Just got a letter/info from Mint saying that if i have any balance transfers i can transfer them at 0% till March then pay 5.9% until cleared. What i was wondering was is there anyway i could transfer my car loan onto the Mint card? They have also given me those big cheques which you can write on.
Im i thinking along the wrong lines about doing this as if i could reduce my £5500 car loan onto 5.9% till its paid off i would save a few quid.
Thanks
Dave

cheques will be treated as cash & the interest charged accordingly. Just so you are aware!

If the cheques are at the offer rate, then brilliant, use them. If you have an egg money card you can transfer a loan onto that, if not I'm not sure what other way there is of doing it.0

The cheques are part of the deal, i used one a few years ago to pay my last car loan off but that was only £3000 and instead of paying Mr Finance Company i paid Mr Mint instead at 0% obviously there was 2% fee as usual, but i think my card limit is only £3200 and my loan is £5500, by moving it onto the mint card too i can overpay whenever i want and hopfully get rid of it in about 16 months.0

Well you can at least use it for as much as possible - no harm in asking Mint for a credit limit increase I suppose?0
