Iva help with deed of trust in house

I was in a Iva . In oct 2015 I put the Iva on hold while I had a baby
In Nov 2015 my partner brought a house and put it in a deed of trust so that if he died the house went to me as his ex wife is on the scene and he was trying to protect me and baby .
Now the ex wife is trying to get more money from my partner and their lawyers are trying to put a charge on his house and said the deed of trust is not valid because I was in a I v a .
The I v a failed 6 months later and I am paying the creditors separately.
Please help x
