Daily Mail / Breakfree / Butlins

Options
Hi All,

Last year I booked a short break to Butlins in Bognor Regis via the above newspaper promotion. Total cost was £40 plus £3 booking fee. I've been advised by Butlins that the resort will not now be open when my stay was due to take place so it has been cancelled. A refund of £40 has been issued. I've contacted Daily Mail holidays to get the £3 booking fee refunded but they say, as it is a non-refundable booking, they cannot issue the refund! I could understand this if it was I who had cancelled but it was the resort operator. Any experience of how to proceed as they are now ignoring my emails and getting hold of them by phone has proved pretty impossible.

Thanks.

Unbelievable, Jeff. I tried calling them this morning and got straight through - £3 is being refunded
