So even if the issue was fixed in the price you wouldn't buy it ?
How much power should a 2.0 tfsi have ?
At low speeds I didn't seem to have much more than my 1.9tdi 130pd ive got at the min

  • Ive got the last persons name to own it since 2009 , and address .
But there seems to be no way of getting peoples landline numbers anymore , and can't find him on Facebook .
Bit stalkerish I know buy I'd rather just risk a phone call to ask the reason they got shut of the car in the first place .

I'd expect that to be the case. You'd find it started to get down the road a lot more eagerly once you got up above 3000RPM.

My 2.0L MX5 feels worse than my 2L diesel Mondeo below 3000RPM. Once I get the MX5 above that the Mondeo stands no chance.

At low speeds and low revs diesels have the advantage on acceleration because of their better low end torque.
