Saving for a Grandchild, options?

Besides Premium Bonds, what regular savings options do I have to save until my not yet 1 year old grandson until his 18th? £250 to open with then £20 a month

JISA is simplest if you don't mind the parents running it.

Your offspring could open a JISA for your grandchild ( may have done so already) and you could contribute.

I have one of those from 1883 or so! Best thing to hang onto it for the long haul i'm guessing? Rather than selling and buying more stocks....

I think the first decision is, will you save in their name, or yours. The latter gives more flexibility but needs a few considerations.
