Have just paid my line rental saver and was expecting to pay £205.08
but was told it had gone up to £208.80 .I thought the line rental was not increasing I wanted to pay last month when I renewed my broadband but was told I had to wait until that started before I could renew my line rental.:mad: Why have I had to pay £3.80 more anyone got any idea .

That price is going back to at least May from what I can see. What made you think it wasn't going up?

When I got my email re BB increase it said line rental would not increase in 2017 .I have just talked to bt and it went up 19th May but when I wanted to pay on 15th and they could not take payment I was not told about the increase.
Will have a good look around next year .

Maybe on the 15th they did not know it was going up. would you expect to go into asda and the staff tell you that your baked beans are going up next week.

Hello,
We wanted to let you know that the price you pay for your broadband, calls and BT Sport will be going up. We've put the changes into a simple table for you below.

The price increase for your broadband and calls will be effective from 2 April 2017, but BT Sport won't increase until 1 August 2017.

Even though some of your prices are increasing, you won't have to pay any extra for your line rental as we're committed to keeping it at the same price for the whole of 2017.

That was dated 13/2/17 .

That does not say it wont go up, but then that is if you pay LR monthly, but OP pays at the discount annual saver rate, which is cheaper than paying monthly, so the discount could have changed but still give the user a discount on the full price
