Hope somebody can help me with this, am very confused...
I was given 37 free shares by my company 3 years ago - just received a letter about them today saying I'm entitled to sell them as of this month.
Thing is I left the company last year so have no idea if I'm still entitled to them? When Googling it a bit it seems as if the company should have had me sell them when I left but as they're completely disorganised it doesn't surprise me at all that they didn't bother.
Where does this leave me - have I lost any rights to them even though I was employed there for just over 2 of the 3 years?
If I am still entitled to any of them, how is that worked out? I'm sure they're probably only worth a pittance anyway but I'm literally clueless regarding shares and every little helps right now!

You need to see the rules of the scheme. Generally if you leave the company, except in certain circumstances which will be listed in the document ie death, retirement or redundancy, you will lose the right to the shares. You need to look at the document you would have been given at the start of the scheme.0
