WARNING scam campervan competition ?

A heads up on what I believe to be a scam
I saw this competition advertised a couple of months back
to win a VW campervan
and another website competition for a motorhome worth £125,000

I cannot prove it but ever since I entered the VW Competition I have been inundated with dozens & dozens of unwanted / SPAM emails + text messages & cold callers from dozens of firms - - all of them know my name & details.
Coincidence ? I think not as I rarely got them before

So beware I think this website simply sells on your details to all & sundry - remains to be seen if there actually is a VW camper to win.

There are loads of "scam" motorhome/RV ones on FB, there is also a web one for a motorhome where I think the data harvesting company behind it is Australian based and it appears as an ad on lots of sites

the motorhome one for info - I would suggest you DO NOT ENTER THIS COMPETITION

Even the look of that site screams "Spammy" to me, if you look at the other competitions they're running (https://brand-leaders.co.uk/) they're mostly £125k prizes which seems unlikely

It gets even better (in fact worse) the "winner" only has a 1 in 100 chance of getting the prize or ends up winning only 4% of the value.
At 12 noon the winner may then select one envelope from a choice of 100 and will win that envelope’s contents ie. One envelope will contain the message ‘AU$250,000 (or local currency equivalent) for the Promoter to provide the winner’s Major Prize Choice (See Terms & Conditions for full details)’, and ninety nine envelopes will contain the message ‘AU$10,000’ (or local currency equivalent) in the form of a Bank Transfer paid to the Winner’s bank account.
