Unhappy with insurance repair
The Mrs got rear ended in her Fiesta at a roundabout.
The van driver admitted fault. Damaged the rear bumper .
Contacted our insurer aviva who arranged a repair. Had car back today had a look at the garage and looked good..signed form for release.
Got car home, there is a creased dent at the corner of the bootlid which I hadnt noticed before. This hasn't been repaired.
It's a lease car so obviously we will get charged for this if it isn't repaired.
Any advice on where we stand ?

As you've signed the release, I would doubt you have any sort of chance of getting the crease repaired under that claim. The Mrs got rear ended in her Fiesta at a roundabout.

If it was damage reported before the work was done and you'd not accepted the car back then maybe you could argue about it.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. To be fair, it was raining and the car was wet. The nature of the crease means you can only see it at a certain angle. I'm not a damage assessor. Surely the garage should have spotted it?0

            You signed the satisfaction release.
You are now left hoping for a goodwill gesture, and have no rights to get this included in the claim
You are asked to sign your satisfaction for a reason!0

Just take it back and say that its accident related if the repairer dont want to know which i doubt will be the case then contact your insurance and tell them they will tell the repairer to sort it0

I went and picked mine up after a bump in the front. Looked ok so signed, drove home and on going in the house, noticed the passenger door stoved in. There was a slight reluctance but as I'd literally only driven 15 miles home the garage agreed to repair it.0
