Fast to open current account with no benefits at all (to sacrifice while switching)

Hi,
Could you advise current accounts which do not have any benefits (switch bonus, cashback etc) worth sacrificing for switch bonus from another bank?
Pay in, direct debit etc requirements mostly do not matter. Preferably with a branch in London or that can be opened fully online.
Thank you!

Why not open a second account with your current bank? If you already have a banking relationship with them then chances are they won't make you jump through all sorts of ID verification hoops so that should improve your prospects of getting one opened quickly, as will doing it online rather than arranging branch appointments, sitting through mandatory videos, etc....0

Is it possible to have several current accounts at the same bank?! How do I approach them to open one? I've always thought you could have more than one current account in the same bank only if one of them is joint.0

I have multiple accounts with a few banks.
They tend to ask if you have an account already during the online application process. In my experience, most will set up a new account and add it to online banking quickly and allowing you to view its sort code and account number.
However, if you are switching a bank account that has a debit card attached to it, as most do, you'll have to supply its IBAN (16 digit number) during the switching process. A new card will take a few days to arrive.0 -

Yes, of course. Silly me. :rotfl:0
