Can we trust these reviews & there ratings . .

With hindsight, I rather wish that I had taken more notice of the reviews about Iresa on Facebook and Trustpilot. Rather than look at the scores on the doors, I now tend to look at how often comment is made about specific customer service issues. Whatever one's views on Feedback sites, rarely does Ofgem stop a supplier from taking on new customers for nearly 2 months unless there are some concerns about the business model underpinning the supply of energy.
All that said, I am the first to accept that for the majority of energy customers switching, billing and switching again never results in a call to customer services.
In sum, you pay your money and you make a personal choice which may, or may not, accord with anyone else's views. Get it wrong, as I and many others have done with Iresa, then the only sensible thing to do is move on to another supplier if you cannot live with their style of doing business. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. No, you can't trust trustpilot.
I have no issues with my Iresa account - just enjoying the cheap prices. :money:
No point you even looking at the reviews of that supplier - they are not accepting new customers at present, so you shouldn't find them coming up on any comparison site (so you don't know what you are missing)

EVERYTHING I've ever looked at on Trustpilot has been negative - wouldn't do business with any Company based on their reviews!!0

You may need to look a little harder:

IMHO, review sites have their place in any sensible decision-making process: that said, I would never make a purchase decision based just on online reviews. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

...I did say, everything I've looked at....I don't scan Trustpilot to find random Companies with positive numbers !:)0 -
Here's a post I made a cuple of weeks back in another thread.Yes, I noticed more than one individual spamming the supplier's facewbook page with duplicate posts. (and MSE thought they had it bad )
Trustpilot? They should be done under the Trade Descriptions Act
Fake reviews plague consumer websites
Fake reviews can operate both ways depending on what the perpetrator(s) wish to achieve.0 -
For every disgruntled customer there are generally at least two that are not, even with those suppliers that are rated as having poor customer service.
If you took notice of reviewers no one would ever switch.0
