Extending existing wired Doorbell wireless?

We got our wired door bell in the Hallway, but once the living room door is closed we are unable to hear it when for example in the Kitchen (located behind living room).
So wife would like to have a way for the existing doorbell somehow to be extended into the Kitchen/Diner, where as a family we probably spend the majority of our time. But I am not too keen in putting some 15m of cable through the house and by doing that creating several holes in the walls etc. Is there any way to extend the existing wired doorbell wireless, i.e. by adding some module/extender into the existing wired circuit that would then send a signal wireless to another receiver/doorbell in the kitchen?
Hope I made myself clear enough, as it sounds a bit dodgy.
Any Input would be much appreciated.

We had a similar problem when we extended our house and couldn't hear the existing doorbell. We've fitted a second wireless one and now have 2 doorbells.Make £2025 in 2025

Put "door bell extender" into Google. We had a Friedland one but it didn't last long.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

Where is the transformer in relation to the new bell location. We had a similar not hearing the bell problem. Luckily our transformer was by the fusebox in the kitchen and I simply changed the wiring to power another bell.0

Not sure how much you want to pay but you can get a door bell which rings your mobile phone and shows who is there, not cheap but great for the less mobile.0
