Hi,
I've just received a text to say they are nearing the end of the investigation and a decision will be sent out soon.

How long after the text should you here? Lloyd's asked for my bank details. Do they pay into your bank of your successful?

Janette

If it really said from Lloyds TSB then its probably fake as Lloyds bank and TSB are no longer together and all claims for historic claims were to be made through Lloyds.

If the request for bank details was on the text, I'd be very suspicious.

Lloyds TSB hasn't existed since about September 2013.

If the text said this then it sounds fake.

Furthermore they would already have your bank details if still with them, or they would pay you by cheque.

In my experience with Lloyds, they have sent this text on the same date the final response letter is issued. The letter has then taken a full week to arrive but been dated as per the text. No one can tell you what the outcome will be simply from that text however as upheld or rejected it would still be sent. You can either wait for the letter to arrive or give them a call, they will confirm the basic details of the letter over the phone. Good luck!!

Am I the only one who doesn't know what people are talking about? A decision on what?

Whether they agree it was miss-sold or not

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

    What was miss sold?
    I'm guessing PPI?
I did wonder but it could have been any sort of investigation ;)

It's the PPI forum so 99% it's PPI, get a few odd ones in the wrong place though
