Car Insurance Direct Line legal cover other party applied for CCJ against me

Hi had a nightmare with direct line. Minor accident which was not my fault (despite my sister being there and other party reversed from space into me they refused to accept blame) however in January its was confirmed to me by direct line that it would have to be a 50/50 claim as there was not sufficient evidence. Which i decided not to contest as I had a lot going on. I then assumed that was that. Then on 17/5/17 I received a court application by the other side for their costs to the tune of £1011. I called direct line immediately to ask what was happening and they re-assured me ( I called them 3 times over 2 days each time I was assured it had been passed to their legal team to deal with and if they needed more they would be in touch I emailed them the letter on the day. A week later on 22/5/17 I received a letter from other sides solicitors claiming against me which was a total lie of eveidence stated in the letter that I had backed out of a space ( i had only just arrived) and was stationary with my handbrake on when they backed into me. I called direct line again and was told their legal team had it in hand. I emailed the solicitors letter to them also. Today I have called them as still had heard nothing and lo and behold nothing has actually been done.. I had an evasive conversation along the lines of if a CCJ has now been issued against me which is now highly likley as the 2 weeks have passed they will try and get it reversed and will pay up ... This has caused me no end of stress and sleepless nights worrying about it ... they are going to get back to me tomorrow with more information .. But Direct Line have seriously cocked up here . Can I do anything more should I complain to them and take to an insurance ombudsman its so unfair ....

Get hold of a manager regarding this and make sure they are dealing with this.
If a judgement in default has been issued, as long as they pay the order awarded promptly it will have no repercussions for you.
Separately raise a complaint using their formal complaints procedure.0
