Lump Sum savings advice

Does anyone have any advice on some good products for placing £25,000 as a lump sum.
The money is to be saved to use as a house deposit, hopefully in 12-18 months and so could be locked away until then, perhaps without access.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Safest places to put it are Isa's, Bonds and a simple saving account are your best bet0
