BoS monthly anniversary

The current accounts provided by the other bank depart from the usual approach by paying interest on the account anniversary date rather than the end/start of the month. So I've timed my DD's to go some days before that anniversary date so I can login once and sweep all the interest and DD funds from four accounts back into my main account."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0

I wonder if BoS will ever update their current account range? I thought they might have done so after Lloyds introduced Club Lloyds but still nothing. What are the benefits of a current account with them apart from the interest rate which is changing soon anyway?0

For several years many of us have had 3 BoS accounts, paying 3% on a total of £15k.
IMHO that has been a substantial benefit:cool:0 -
Only one regular saver per customer, not per Vantage account. But Halifax also do a regular saver.
As the regular savers only pay 2% you may as well just stick the money in additional Vantage accounts.
The interest tiers are being removed on the 11th, so then it will make no difference whether you have £5k in one or £2.5k each in two.
Getting as many DD's as you need is simple. If you search the forum you'll find out how. But if you decide to go for one of the charity options make sure you give them enough to make it worthwhile - charity £1 DD's are not really fair.
Halifax's Regular Saver isn't as easy access as Bank of Scotland's. Fine if you're just stashing money away for a rainy day, but if you need to access any money before the 12 month period, BoS will allow you to transfer instantly to your current account, Halifax need you to go into a branch and close the account.DEBT FREE!

You can fund BOS accounts with halifax and then through the BOS accounts either logged into Halifax online Banking or BOS.
My £1000.00 goes into my Halifax URCA, then goes to Reward 1, 2, and 3, then to BOS 1, 2, 3, then back to URCA< all done in the same log in and the same money transferred. You can use internal payments to fund, as long as you pay out the correct DD, for each account monthly..
