replacement windows and doors .

i real'y need help on this one .
my house is in desperate need of new doors and windows some windows don't seal and have gaps you can see outside ! and two doors (patio & backdoor ) don't lock .
the problem is money .... i have none
me and my wife work full time but the money is spent on keeping up with bills and looking after 3 kids .its not like we have the latest tec hell the last holiday i had was 2001 .
to be frank i don't know how to get help (if any is available )
i see some window company's with slogans like (grants and eco grants) but looking into it it seems dodgy .
any tips or help would be much appriciated.
