Hiya all
My father is thinking of selling his flat quickly and he has called the national home buyers: https://www.nationalhomebuyers.co.uk/

they said to my father that they can buy the flat in just weeks and can make the offer in 7 days, all subject to survey and there is a charge £150 at the start for the survey fees and will be refunded when the change of contract is complete, they also said they will pay upto £1000 for legal fees

Just want to know if anyone have dealt with them before and how was the service?

Many thanks

I wouldn't bother with them. When we put ours on the market I contacted them out of curiosity. Initially they told me I had to pay a fee (£150) to get their price. I said no thanks. They called back and reduced it, then in another call said they would waive the fee. I got them to give me a price as I was still curious. They valued our house at £100k less than we have accepted an offer for it. I did laugh when I was given the price and the guy on the phone totally understand and was actually a little apologetic to me about the price. I also understand from what I have read, they are likely to drop the price again at the point of exchange as they rely on the vendor being desperate by that time.

Tell him to hang up the phone next time they call.

Any property can sell quickly if priced right.

'Right' does not mean the offer he'll receive from these .... errrr.... people.
