Santander Cashback help

Hi there. I've been looking for help on this issue but haven't had any luck.
I recently took a career break and since my wife is a full time housewife we don't have any money coming into our santander account.
Since we are not meeting the £500 minumum deposit per month they've stopped paying cashback and interest.
I was thinking of transferring out £500 into my Nationwide account and then simply transferring it back in, but have no idea if this would mean that I'm entitled to the cashback and interest. Would anyone know if this is the case?
Thanks in advance,
Gravers

Short answer: yes, that works fine
Proper answer: read the Ts & Cs yourself rather than relying on anonymous strangers on t'interweb!

Yes do that, it is what I do in a slightly different way - £1K goes out to fund my BOS accounts and ends up back in Santander satisfying the paying in requirement.. All you need to do is have £500 per month go into the account from an account with another bank or a Santander account not in your name as well as 2 direct debits set up and current - they do not actually have to be taken each month.0

A credit of £500 from your non Santander account will meet the requirement.
You can cycle money in and out using your Nationwide account.0
