Assigning benefits of level term life insurance to god childrens mother

I have got a super quote fro level term life insurance through Cavendish (recommended by MSE)

BUT I want the beneficiary of the policy to be my god children's mother

Through Aviva which was the cheapest policy .. will that be possible

    and what is the procedure for this. Do I list her as a insurable nterest or whatever it is called

    Get the insurer to issue the policy "in trust"

    That will ensure the money goes to the right person and not your estate (also free from taxes)
