Parking charge high wycombe

I parked my vehicle in wycombe rye lido carpark (operated by civil enforcement ltd) and bought a 'pay and display' ticket at a machine where you also had to enter registration. So i was surprised when a received a charge in the post. I had kept the ticket, so i replied and sent them the ticket. The ruled against my appeal, and i wondered why. Then i noticed i had absently mindedly entered the registration of my previous vehicle (i use it for passwords sometimes). So where do i stand now? I did pay, i can prove it, but just entered wrong registration. As they have CCTV they should have realised that the reg i actually put in did not appear in the car park that day. Also, the time stamped on the ticket coincides with time of charge?! What should i do now?:(

Ask a board guide to move this to the parking sub forum
And read up the newbies FAQ thread near the top of that forum to find out how to proceed after an appeal fails0
