Villa near the sea with private pool

Can anyone recommend a villa with private pool near the beach and restaurants etc in Spain or Greece?

Have you looked on the usual villa rental sites? I think the problem is different people like different things, we prefer to have a bit of land so we don't mind if the children are noisy in the pool. Must have BBQ, must have separate shower etc, but other people have different views.

One thing I do try to do is ensure I have some kind of security, ie a villa with lots of positive comments, or one with ins to cover you if you turn up and there is no villa!

Villa plus have plenty in the Marbella Area as well as many other locations. We stayed in one almost on the beach with Private pool just outside Puerto Banus. Sure there are plenty of other areas and companies offering what you are looking for.

We rented a lovely 2 bed villa in Svoronata, Kefalonia. It had a small private pool, was 3 mins from the nearest (small and expensive) mini mart and was 10 mins from the nearest beach. Downsides - the double bed was open plan to the living and kitchen area with the 2nd twin bed and 2nd en suite downstairs, Svoronata is v quiet and quite spread out so lots of walking and it's under the flight path. However, the villas were so lovely and the owners so friendly and helpful we've booked to go again this year.
