Out of date uncashed dividend cheques?

What does someone do when they find several old dividend share cheques from the past that they have not cashed within 6 months?

Are they still due the money? - I would have thought so.

How do they determine who to contact to get the cheques reissued?

Thanks in advance :D

hi- the dividend cheques should say who the registar of the company is. Give them a ring and explain.

I dont know if they will help just because they are out of date though?
I had dividend cheques go missing in the post and the registrar sent new ones out in a couple of weeks once they had verified that I hadnt cashed them.

Return to the Registrar and they will issue new cheques or stamp a new date on the old ones. Use Recorded or Special Delivery. Next time, give them your bank details and they will be paid in there.
