Quick comping question

Options
This is for facebook and twitter.....Where the competition provider says tag a friend, and say Mrs Jones tags me in it, can I then in my own comment tag Mrs Jones back? Or is that against the rules and they want a completely different person tagged by yourself? Thanks for your help! And happy comping!

I would just tag the same person unless the T&c's state not to.

To be honest, I doubt they're cross-reference, they'll just pick a random reply and the two people will win. They're not gonna go back through all of the replies to cross-reference all of the tags.

I guess the same person could be tagged 20 times, doesn't really matter I don't think.

Not sure about twitter but it against facebook rules to make tagging a condition of entry so if they ever got shirty about it they are in the wrong in the first place. Unless it's for something i really really want and I can tag my other half or mil if it says tag I skip it.

Facebook do not allow companies to ask anyone to tag anyone of anything (or share a page or post)... They can (and also you can) have your page closed down for breaching the T&C

    See E-3: https://www.facebook.com/page_guidelines.php
Date of Last Revision: 30 March 2017
    3. Promotions may be administered on Pages or within apps on Facebook. Personal Timelines and friend connections must not be used to administer promotions (eg: “share on your Timeline to enter” or “share on your friend's Timeline to get additional entries”, and "tag your friends in this post to enter" are not permitted).

    Also - II-D: Tagging
You must not inaccurately tag content or encourage users to inaccurately tag content
Yes, I know there is no "R" in the word dream in my username - it was setup in memory of my grandson :A

Thanks for all the replies! Been offline for a few days. Makes sense that they wont cross reference, just making sure I wasn't accidently ruining it for the person who tagged me :) Right back to deleting all the facebook comps I didn't win....aka all of them! :(
