Diy divorce after 9yrs separation

Hello,
I have been married for 20yrs, separated for 8/9 . We got married in America, he lives in Australia and I live in England. We didn't own a house or have children and separated amicably. I am going to visit him and wanted to talk about getting divorced. What would be the process. We wouldn't want to have solicitors involved and it wouldnt be contested. I've read so many different theories online that now I don't know which forms or what I have to do?

Nip along to your local CAB and ask them to refer you to a family solicitor for their free 20 minutes of advice, particularly to see if your husband living in another country requires special action or paperwork.
