Best Games Trade in prices.

Does anyone think it might be a goos idea to post our quotes on trading in games at certain shops. I know a friend of mine traded in a game at blockbuster and got £25 off his Halo3 game. I am thinking of trading in my fifa 07 game somewhere but unsure where the best place to trade in is.
If We were to post the quotes on different shops/games people could compare here. I will try and get some quotes this weekend, has anyone got any recent ones?

In my opinion, you don't really get that much for trading in games and the best bet is to list them on ebay.0

you can but fifa o7 brand new for 14.99 now so you will be lucky to get a fiver trade in for it anything thats dated ie fifa 07 formula 1 07 etc dont hold much value at trade in once the latest version is out0

Trade prices can change instantly, thus quoting trade prices could be misleading.
I always use www.cex.co.uk as a guide to a games trade value, though i've found cex often give higher trade prices then places like Game, or gamestation. Fotunatley for me i have a store locally.0 -
I traded in fifa 07 a couple of weeks ago at gamestation and was given £16 in credit. Bear in mind that gamestation will price match any high street retailer within 10 miles so long as it is in stock, I got halo 3 from them for £34.99 which is the blockbuster price, essentially cost me £19 after the credit.
I would go to game first for a trade in price as gamestation also promise to beat any other trade in price by at least £10 -
Tip on trading in games: Don't0

I would recommend trading in games instead of selling them on ebay if the games are relatively new. eg my son traded in Bioshock at Gamestation and got £30 off Halo 3. Compare this with ebay where it struggles to sell used for more than £20, then factor in ebay fees, paypal fees, waiting a week for it to sell, postage costs and the hassle of going to the post office, and then trading in wins hands down.0

IMHO Cex trade-in prices can be really good - currently the cash trade-in price there on a wii console w/o wii sports is higher than I paid for mine second hand with sports from gamestation, and for store credit it would be even more. Ditto for many wii games. In fact, there's probably a nice little earner for someone out there who can be bothered to buy used from one place then sell to another (i.e not me. I'd end up spending the profits!
)
Thing is, trade-in prices can change so quickly I'd say all you can do is shop around.
And not buy second hand from Cex!0 -

Why?
I traded in stuntman ignition ps2 last week in Game for £18
New instore it was on sale for £19.99 and woolies had/have it for £17 odd
Please tell me where or how I could have got more than £18 for it
I do agree with others a trade in price thread is a waste of time as they change so quickly0 -
