Just a quick update for those interested.


Our little doggie had an operation on Thursday to remove a lump that the RSPCA had picked up on. I was quite worried as the vet mentioned prior that it could be a cancer. Good news is that the lump was harmless and wasn't actually attached to anything s came out easily. Bad news is that the vet firmly believes she has been beaten so severely at some point, that a bit of rib has chipped off and gathered scar tissue. This has been reported back to RSPCA for them to see what action they can take.


On really positive note though, her confidence has built even further and today she started joining in with the other dogs we walk with whilst they are playing. One likes to carry sticks much bigger than himself an at one point they were either end of the same stick, carrying it together!


She is turning out to be one of the most polite dogs of the group, sitting quietly if the owners all stop to chat or wait for a dog to catch up. If she does wander off for a sniff of something, its no more than 3 metres away and she constantly looks across to check that either I or my daughter are still nearby.
