  • I like to use the online price checkers like elephant or confused (both admiral) you can go back and add or remove stuff, I found TPFT was only a couple of quid less than fully comp, and starting a policy of my own with no no claims (I've always been on the wifes policy) was only £40 more than being on hers with 9 years no claims, I have no idea how they work out their prices, but I think it's done by rolling a dice. My 7 year old Jag ranged from £600-£270 fully comp, I'll let you guess which I picked.

Since when have insurance companies started allowing you to protect NCB on a TPFT policy?
When I call for quotes and say I want to protect our NCB they always say you have to be fully comp to do that.
    Dear shelly

    Raskazz is correct.

I would just like to add that I don't know any company that allows no claims discount protection on less than 3 years no claims bonus. The usual minimum is four years with some companies and 5 years with most companies.

    Thank you.
