hi all
im writing on behalf of me mother as to her life assurance policy,
she had been paying in for over 20 years and because the policy was quite dear she has now stopped the policy, she is wondering now if she could claim any of the money back that has been paid.

Was stopping the premiums the right thing to do? Many whole of life plans (which i assume was the policy here) have a maximum age they collect premiums. After that age they stop premium collections but retain benefits as if they were being paid. Did she check to see if this was the case for her?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
