    Hi
Thanks all for your replies and the lovely coment about my cakes. I have decided that I will go to the fete and take a stall as it's onnly £10. I have only made 3 tier cakes apart from 1 which was a gift so i was going to just take 3 tiews with me maybe 2 of each colour with the possibility of taking orders with a deposit, its a small community we live in so i thought that would be enough, i bought nappies from asda yesterday (huggies boxes of 140 are £10 just now) i need to go shopping for a few more bit which i'm hoping to get today so i can get started. I don't think i will have a problem to make 6 cakes by the time if the fete.
should i be thinking about making anything else? i did wonder about buying bottles and putting a couple of things inside like vest and mits or bib does anyone have ideas for little things that i could maybe take with me just to fill the table and maybe help cover the cost of the stall?

If you don't want the extra expense of buying more blankets for your 1 tier, you could do some mini ones with a vest wrapped around.

My sister has told me to get a 'move on' making up some cakes etc, and she will do a stall with me.
Just not sure where I am gonna put them all, my house has been taking over with growing my vegetable seeds!!! The house looks like a greenhouse at the moment!!!
A creative mess is better than tidy idleness :D

at least you have your seeds in :ji don't my poor greenhouse is needing glass
i don't use blankets for one tier i use muslin cloths and put paper inside
it helps them stay in place.
i am messing about at moment and have just made a chair its looking good but have ran out of little bits to put on, off to hospital for a blood test with dd so will try and post on blog (wish i knew how to post on here)
when i get back, it might be of some use to somebody
    contents
    15 nappies
    blanket
    toy
    bib
    terry towel cloth (from morrisons)
posting them on here since its easier than messing on blog
    bye

Moonpenny kindly told me how to post pics.....

    Register with photobucket.com.
You download your pics on that and to put them on forum, hover mouse over the pic you want and a box will appear underneath with several options.
You need to click on the bottom one (think its IGM or something) Anyway, just for a second a yellow box will appear which says "copied"
You then go to the forum and in the posting box, left click "paste" The address will appear but when you post, the picture will come up.

HTH - I managed it so anyone can do it!!!! :)

There are 2 WTP muslin cloths, 1 WTP body Suit, 1 Johnsons Soft Wash,1 Johnsons baby soap, 1 WTP Soft Toy and 22 Nappies. I'm charging the lady £20, sound fair?
