Evening well i have just got in from work to find the shop that sells my stuff wants another 4 more football cakes (nappy cakes too do with football teams) so looks like im going to be busy tomorrow

I never knew you did these? I have been making these up for the last week and been waiting on the toppers to arrive. I plan to sell them on my website and also on ebay! I was only saying to one of the girls a few days ago that I was rushing about like a lunatic trying to sort them all out!

Did the Spring fair yesterday.....lovely comments ...oooo they're different ....how pretty etc but not many sales :( - they forget it was still school hols - lots of stall holders said the past few years were jammed with people ! Hope I didn't jinx them!!!
Did give out tons of leaflets so maybe something will come from them !
At least I have lots of things made up now and unlike real cakes they're not going to go off!!
I too need to not buy any more baby related items as I think it may end in divorce!!!
Off to tidy the house as it is in a pickle......

Thanx to you all for your help and inspiration xx
    :)

There is no issue with copyright, I have already checked and been in touch with the relevant people ;) I am in the process of selling through one of the teams shops, just waiting to hear back from the main man himself ;)

Do you have a pic of yours?

Awww thats not good, but you said not many sales so you must have sold some ;) which is always good news and plenty of leaflets which bodes well for business ;) remember not every single person who took a leaflet will know someone in the next 5 days who is having a baby, it could be as long as 9 months so they may well remember you down the line and come back for more. I have one customer who won't buy off ebay, she looks on ebay for me, then contacts me by phone and arranges to collect. She has had 7 cakes so far!

    Hi all,

Sorry have been awol. I did come back, but all the kerfuffle put me off, so I decided to step back for a while.

Anyway, I have an emergency and was wondering if anyone could help me! I have had a last minute order for a Winnie T Pooh theme cake in blue but I can't find a suitable Winnie ANYWHERE. Can anyone suggest somewhere I might get a Winnie soft toy suitable lastminute.com?

    Thank you! xxx

BB Asda do a 3D pooh I used him in my pooh cakes, basically it is a blankie and you can stuff the blanket bit inside him to make him into a teddy.

Tescos had some animal pooh teds reduced (think I said they were £1.50 ish)

Asda do a newer range or pooh but they are mainly the super sleuths (have blue jumpers on them)

Wilkos sell them for about £4
