In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. I think OP you heard what you didn't want to hear, that is why in your opinion it was 'abusive'. The fact most people on here had the same advice should be clear enough.
Snowflake generation. They take it personally when someone has a different opinion to them or understands something more than them.
Hopefully these sensitive little souls will man up at some point and develop a sense of humour. Otherwise it's the end for irony and self-deprecating wit. *sigh*0 -

did you read the thread,
OP came back admitted that they were wrong, thanked us for our help and told their solicitor to proceed?
I take it you're from the "dont read the whole story but assume you know everything generation"?0 -
Zephyr you just made my day! I haven't been mistaken for a young filly in over 25 years.
I did get the answer I wanted and I'd like to say again how very grateful I am.
I totally agree that my newness, nervousness and lack of understanding may have made me sensitive so I take back my asdertion of meanness and hope I haven't offended anyone.
I felt a little shocked at some of the phrasing. But im old enough to know that the way I receive something is not necessarily the way it was I intended, so I'm sorry.
I will use this forum again as I've looked at other threads and can see you guys can be really helpful and I'm sure I could grow some thicker skin in future if I need help again. And maybe I can even help someone in future
Sorry, and again a huge thanks to all xx0 -
