I've read all the posts in this thread and been very carefull to put in the whole serial number and had someone double check - I also tried various permutations but it does not recognise anything as a wii serial number. Very sad.

I,m having the same problem with the serial number not been recognized.my son has just tried it to and still wont recognize it.

I just tried it and my serial number wasn't accepted either. Looking back through the old posts (this is a very old thread!) it seems like this offer was only intended for the very first models which didn't come with a remote jacket included, when you bought the wii. My wii is quite new so that's probably why it won't work for me.

I need 2 jackets for my wii controlers but i have the motionplus attached wont fit will they?
