• Got mine today :j I got 2 and i only asked for 1 (dont know why i asked for 1 as i have 2 controllers  )
• Needing some assistance with the request form. My serial number is invalid or has been used by someone else trying to get wii remote covers. Has anyone got any tips? I'm miffed as I am a wii owner, customer service link is stuffed on the nintendo site and I can't register my wii either.

Av got the same blinking message!!!!! So I have emailed Nintendo's Website at internetenquiries@nintendo.co.uk to tell them that it isn't working & I have also requested my Wii Remote Jackets as well. I just gave them my Wii Serial Number whilst asking for them so fingers crossed I receive them.

I will post a response if I get them.

I never had a problem registering my Wii or Wii Sports!!! You are registering them at www.clubnintendo.eu? You get 2 cards inside the Wii box that you use.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers
• The website link for the uk seems to have an error as well.
Thanks for your reply Prezzy!

No probs moggers.

Don't know why the link doesn't work for you as it worked for me. I have not got any erroe messages when I try to connect to Nintendo!!! Av tried it from 4 different pc's with no probs. Are you running an up to date Internet Explorer?

Got a reply from Nintendo saying - (Thank you for your enquiry. Due to huge interest in Nintendo we receive a huge number of enquiries, but we'll respond as quickly as we can. In the meantime, we thank you for your patience. Nintendo UK)

Hope then send us my Wii Remote Jackets out to me!!! Will try & do it from the website again just incase. You never know I might receive 8 or more Wii Remote Jackets as everyone else seems to be receiving more than they have asked for!!!

Will update if I here anything else.

Could always send one out to a poor soul who can't registered on the site for it saying, serial number incorrect or in use! Ive tried entering it 5 times, no joy.

Security codes worked fine for me once I figured 0 and O and 1 and I looked the same on the card and figured by trial and error which was which! Have the same serial number invalid or already used message.though.

• I must admit to being very skeptical about this one. Why is the URL "nintendo-europe" when none of the official Nintendo sites use that URL? (They all have country specific URLs).

Why, if you click any of the links from that "site" does it go off to another (real) nintendo site instead of staying in context?

It may be that I have been on the Internet for too long, but this smells of a scam to me. It seems like someone has set up a website pretending to give away free stuff, just to get the addresses of hundreds of WII owners.

I mean what's this grammar on the front page of the "site"? "Nintendo of Europe"? Come on, Nintendo do not use broken grammar like that anywhere on their other, legitimate sites.

Have a lot of people actually recieved these free things?

Sorry, but this has SCAM written all over it in my book.
