I used a debit card and it was fine.Mahatma_/_Steven wrote: »Note: You have to have a credit card for this. Debit won't cut it.
So the rich get richer and those who can't get a credit card can't see their credit rating! Brilliant. 0 0

Thanks for the tip MSE Jenny. I have got my experian report and cancelled my subscription all in the space of 10 minutes. Now, how do I physically get my hands on the cash back? I know it will be 'in my account' in a few days but then what do i do to get it?
So it seems people ARE doing it just for the cashback. Good on you, it makes sense.0

The transaction needs to 'track' on your Quidco account. It will then move to 'validated' status after a few weeks/month.
To make sure you get the cash once Quidco have been paid make sure that you have entered your bank details at Quidco and entered your minimum payout level at 0.
You will eventually get paid in a couple of months so patience is required! 0 0

            3. Cancel the subscription. Now cancel the subscription by calling 0800 656 9000. You are signing up to a direct debit so even though they allow 30 days, I'd do this straight away. Leave it a month and you may forget and be charged for the next month.
Worth noting that you need to select option 4 when you phone to cancel.
Also the guy suggested that I should speak to someone about the report before cancelling (apparently this is included in the trial)- even though I told him that everything was in order. I declined his kind offer.
Cancelling today means that I will still be able to log in to the report until 4th November.0

Im quite bitter about it, as I feel I was misled, and it wasnt clear that there was going to be a charge - they wouln;t budge so i put the phone down! not a happy bunny
Perhaps this has now been addressed as I have just gone through the process and it is made very clear in more than one place that you would need to specifically select this option and would be charged £5.95 for it.
It would be hard to do it without realising that you were being charged extra.0

Given that your credit check is specific to you regardless of your email address they will know who is requesting the check, having said that I am unsure of the policy regarding repeat requests for free trials and it may be worth attempting it.
At worse they may just tell you to trot coz you had one recently.Domestic Violence and Abuse 24hr freephone helpline for FEMALE TARGETS - 0808 2000 247.

I am trying to sign up for the free trial and have received an e-mail from Credit Expert saying:

I tried to sign up for this yesterday but the site gave me an error message saying that they were unable to process the request.
 Anyone else had this?
Is it safe to retry today? - I had already put card details in.
 Thanks0
