Am I blind? On the Top CashBack site - I can see Experian, listed on the home page bottom right - says it gives cashback of £1.50?
Where does it mention £5 for joining?

Quidco is a co-operative. It is run by consumers for consumers. Please please read their about us section. It asks users to respect Quidco and not to sign up to things then cancel them straight away and get money from Quidco. It damages the Quidco model, and hurts us.
Quidco works on the click-and-pay idea. For example, when we click on a link on Martin's site to visit a company, Martin gets paid for that click if we end up buying a product from that company. (Martin is always very upfront about these so called 'sponsored' links).
Now Quidco is very similar...but instead of Quidco earning money when we click on a link to a third-party company, that money comes straight back to us.
If thousands of people sign up for their credit reports and claim Quidco cash then cancel their reports soon after, it will harm Quidco's reputation with the companies they link to.
I have informed Quidco about this Martin's email, and hopefully they'll stop offering cashback on these products.
Getting easy money from Quidco is very simple, but it hurts us.
Consumer revenge is a fantastic idea - but revenge against ourselves? Martin, you should know better.
I fundamentally disagree in this case. This isn't a 'get car insurance just for quidco payment then cancel'. Here the companies are offering and specifically plugging a 30-day free trial. Their payment is delineated on that. Therefore by cancelling you are actually taking the trial - and using it - just not signing up for the longer deal. This is a very different scenario

How is it any different? Getting any product via Quidco where the company doesn't get anything out of it harms the Quidco model.
Quidco only gets paid - and therefore we only get paid - because Quidco is helping the company earn money.
It is quite blinkered to think that what you're advocating is not against the spirit of Quidco.
The proof is in the pudding, though, Martin. If you honestly don't believe that thousands of people doing this will harm Quidco, then we clearly disagree.
Choose your targets wisely Martin. Quidco shouldn't be one of them - however inadvertently.0

I don't understand your arguement as you are being paid to take the free trial. It states that clearly...£5.00 Cashback for a 30 Day Trial.0

I'm with Martin & Baby_J on this. This is advertised as a free trial, so you are doing exactly what it says on the tin.
I do agree with Urban that conning these cashback sites will help nobody, this however is not a con, although there may be less free trials on cashback sites as a result in the future.0

I spoke to the guy who runs Topcashback this morning and he is all for people going for this deal; they are glad of the publicity. He's actually upped the cashback paid from £5 to £6.0

Just to let you know, if you go through Quidco for the free experian credit report it can take quite a few days to track. I ordered my free report on Saturday and its only tracked today. I also did the Just rewards experian survey for an extra £1.80, that tracked much quicker
