Premier Inn none cancelable family room advice

Hi
Basically we have booked a premier inn on the non cancelable rate which isnt a problem as we intend to use it.
The problem is i booked it for myself, my wife and our daughter however her friend is now coming with us
Was just going to ask Premier Inn to add an extra single bed (as i assume it will be one double and one single for 3) however on reading the amendments policy I'm not sure if they will let us add someone else to the room without charging us again.
It's only one night and the kids are 12 so we could top and tail them on the one single bed and not mention how many we have with us but just thought I'd see if anyone has had a similar situation or could advise what is best to do?
Thanks

Family rooms usually have beds for two adults and two children.0

They will have no issue with this. Just call ahead and ask them to change it so that you are now a family of four rather than a family of three.0

Some family rooms are 1 double, I single so definitely talk to hotel to see if they can accommodate you in existing room. Hopefully they will be helpful.0

Always annoys me when people don't post back to say how they get on so thought for future reference I would.
Rang the actual hotel we are staying at and they were fine, changed the booking to 2 adults and 2 kids and also emailed me out a new confirmation showing this.
Very good service to be fair as I'm sure some companies would take advantage of the policy and make you pay again.
Well done Premier Inn :T0
