where can I insure a ring sepraterly

My home insurance is due for renewal and I have had my engagement ring on it but it doesnt half bump up the cost ,,, does anyone know if i can insure it on its own elsewhere

Some jewellers sell a stand alone policy. Usually needs to be the one where you purchased the ring though.

Some jewellers flog a policy if you have the item valued through them.The man without a signature.0

Failing the above, you could always check out the British Insurance Broker's Association (BIBA) on www.biba.org.uk for a list of companies.0

If purchased via a major retailer you may get insurance from them, although any stand-alone policy for the ring may be more expensive than adding to your Contents Insurance.0
