What kind of tracking number is 012345EDD67?
The seller has entered it as RM but it hasn't arrived when it's supposed to.
The listing said RM 1st (unsigned), although value is over £20 and the seller is a genuine business who has several transactions a week and 4 digits of feedback.
Will start INR tomorrow but any ideas

The wrong kind! Ask the seller to check and let you have the correct number - could just be an error.0

Have you asked the seller? It may be through a parcel broker website and only work through them. You'd need the actual parcel tracking number. I'd ask the seller first and explain the code doesn't work before opening a case.0

It could be a tracking number for postage bought through ebay?
Obvious question - if the seller has specified Royal Mail, have you tried it in the Royal Mail track and trace website?0 -
Potentially part of a 2d barcode, which would fit with 1st class unsigned.
All other RM codes follow 2 letter,9 digit and country code.

My Royal Mail parcel receipts are all now giving a 16 digit reference number in the same place as you find the tracking number for signed for (which also says reference number) and when the postie delivers parcels he is scanning them before he hands them over so I am assuming that is the POs own tracking system. I have been putting that number in the tracking box - should I be doing that?

Exactly what I thought - the 2D barcodes through RM accounts are 21 characters long and it looks like the end of one.
But I think the RM 2D labels which are supplied when purchased through ebay are similar - ie a string of numbers with a letter/number combo at the end - but are shorter, about 10 or so characters?
Edit - and as seen above, the 2D barcodes purchased through the post office seem to be 16 characters long0
