John Mills and Alec Guinness certainly must rank amongst British cinemas best know and loved actors. With careers spanning many decades, this versatile and extremely accomplished pair appeared in films from across many genres, and were the brightest stars at a time when the British film industry produced a steady stream of productions that still more than stand the test of time today.
