Evening peoples :hello:
Sorry to hear about your lap-top KM and hope the new one behaves itself. It's always soo annoying when we have to replace such things - it's the inconvenience as well as the pennies eh.
Pleased to see some of you still making monies :T :T
I've not made a penny today as been really busy on RL stuff. Hope to get onto it later in the week
Sending supporting vibes for CBC and anyone else needing some. Hope you managing to get through problems and things soon improve.
Have a great Wednesday

I haven't been tracking what I make, but this is something I have essentially been trying to do. I'll think about joining next month!
If anyone is looking for some suggestions which might not have been posted before, here are some things I've found success with:
Android smartphone apps - share your data for money
Citizenme
-- I've had this installed on my phone for about 2 months and made £12. It's not loads, but you get little bits over time and it adds up. Money gets paid immediately and directly into your PayPal account.
people.io
-- You can't get straight cash from this, but you can get e-gift cards for Starbucks, Amazon, and some others. I've made about £10 in gift cards in 2 months. I've used mine for Starbucks cards, and when I spend the gift card money, I accumulate stars towards a free drink at Starbucks.
Mystery shopping bank assignment
-- The best mystery shopping pay I've ever gotten was from a bank. I got £75 for my assignment and my husband got £50. If you want to know more about this, message me because the mystery shopping company asks shoppers not to post either its name or the name of the banks it arranges shops in.0 -
Has anyone heard of Job Spotter app? I heard about it through a money blog, it's an app made by indeed and you get points for taking and uploading photos of job advertisements in shop windows. No people can be in the photos, and you get much more points for ones that say 'apply within'. The points are exchanged for amazon vouchers.

I have downloaded it but not used it yet, but I have been mentally keeping an eye out for the ads that are worth about a quid in points and just on my local high street I will make about a fiver. I don't know how user friendly it is, and you may have all heard of it but I thought I would mention itDebt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

yes I posted last month about it. My friends read it on mse and kept bugging me about it.
I use it. Now points vary for the type of ad you take. You aren't going to necessarily make a fiver. If it is a common shop like claires and poundland you only get about 5 points.
if it is a rare job ie hard to come by in that profession like estate agent or cake maker in a shop you will earn more points. Last month I earnt £10.
I think this month only on £1.44 so far.
will take screen shots to show you.
there are some things that will get rejected so you need to read the tutorial. Payment comes via email and not from indeed!0 -

Hi
look forward to seeing you join in next month.
I posted about citizenme last month. I like it as fast payment even if only small amounts like 10p. it all adds up.
people.io have just started using. it's a very slow earner and was waiting to cash out to post about it.
mystery shopping - also known on this thread as MS. You aren't supposed to mention any client names for any mystery shopping companies and yes there is a company who does not like being discussed anywhere. open forums, closed facebook groups etc.
Some words about mystery shopping. You have to register with HMRC as self employed. You have to declare this income. You can also claim expenses as in any self employment like broadband use, printing, travel etc.
Whilst there are lucrative jobs out there, they aren't always available to anyone. Some companies like you to have built up a record with them before they will allocate you certain jobs. Others will pay very little for certain jobs. While some people don't mind those who do ms as full time look down on the litype pay for a lot of work.
It's not just a fun job of walking into a business and following a role/script. There s remembering key details like who you spoke to/what they looked like/what they said. Then there is the reporting you must do after. MS companies like detailed reports for theie clients
And if you do jobs like bank ones you will be credit checked unless they specifically say not. whilst some companies say they will remove the credit check I know this doesn't always happen.
so don't be doing lots of jobs involving credit checks as they will all be on your credit report.
There is a dedicated thread to mystery shopping on mse and I suggest those wanting to dabble, have a thorough read0 -
sorry for being missing in action everyone. I am falling asleep at night before I get chance to get laptop out.
I so wish mse was more mobile friendly.0
