plumbing in dishwasher

Hello
I am in the middle of house move. Just got my dishwasher delivered, which meant to be connected by the delivery guys as well. Instead they just decided to return the money I paid for connection, so I am left with a dishwasher in the middle of kitchen
I was told there is no available connection for a waste pipe under the sink as the existing one is taken by a washing machine. I've been also told there is an issue with water supply as again washing machine is connected to cold water valve under the sink.
I assume to fix issue with waste connection, I need to replace trap under the sink with something like this, am I right?

However I am at a loss with cold water valve, so was hoping someone could advise.
Also it would be great if I could get estimate how much a plumber would charge me to get all this done. Unfortunately London rate would need to apply

Do you have any handy friends or a handyman? It's a pretty simple DIY task. Although I must admit, working under the sink is one of my least favourite. :rotfl:....... just above tiling.
If you want to attempt it we can offer plenty of advice, if not, just get somebody out who will do it all. Depending on what's there it should take less than an hour.0 -
If the fill for both the Washing machine and the dishwasher are cold water then item below will do the job and can be bought from places like Wickes ect

The loose nut at the bottom connects to the mains stopc0ck then run the flex pipes off the two outer threads to the machines {one to the washine machine, one to the dishwasher0 -

Only problem getting a plumber out {depending on area} is cost. London rates sky high per 15 mins £30 upwards:(0 -
Don't need plumber for this. post a pic of the existing trap if you can - you might be able to get away with replacing one part.0

Many thanks for all responses so far. I will post photo tomorrow as I am not at property tonight.
I am keen to try DIY if I can as I have a feeling it should be straightforward though never done it before.0 -
Please see pic below. Would be very grateful for any advice.
Many thanks

Use the y-piece that london50 posted for the inlet. Screw that where your dishwasher inlet hose currently is. Then screw dishwasher and washing machine to that.
Then remove the waste connector and fit something like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/?iid=300861871235&&&dispItem=1&adgroupid=44594567914&rlsatarget=pla-300798677263&abcId=1088856&adtype=pla&merchantid=7402984&poi=&googleloc=9045405&device=m&campaignid=805978797&crdt=0&ul_ref=http%253A%252F%252Frover.ebay.com%252Frover%252F1%252F710-134428-41853-0%252F2%253Fmpre%253Dhttp%25253A%25252F%25252Fwww.ebay.co.uk%25252Fitm%25252Flike%25252F300861871235%25253Fchn%25253Dps%252526dispItem%25253D1%2526itemid%253D300861871235%2526targetid%253D300798677263%2526device%253Dm%2526adtype%253Dpla%2526googleloc%253D9045405%2526poi%253D%2526campaignid%253D805978797%2526adgroupid%253D44594567914%2526rlsatarget%253Dpla-300798677263%2526abcId%253D1088856%2526merchantid%253D7402984%2526gclid%253DCj0KEQjw9r7JBRCj37PlltTskaMBEiQAKTzTfGCHighuaPvhFs3gB9sBza75cEuvR3ZtFbSRcXOptPIaAjsv8P8HAQ%2526srcrot%253D710-134428-41853-0%2526rvr_id%253D1221439111766&chn=ps
Put both waste hoses onto that.
There's many ways to skin a cat, this may not be perfect but it will suffice and is probably the simplest in terms of explaining on t'Internet.0 -
You could probably take the upright part off this trap and replace the pipe falling from your 1/2 sink on the right.
Looking at that set up however, I wouldn't be keen on having the washing machine plumbed in after the u-bend, this means you could have drain smells coming in through your washing machine. If you were to replace the whole lot, you could use a space-saving design that pushes the various connections backwards, freeing up the cupboard space.0 -
Meant current washing machine* and apologies, massive link. On phone and editing is a might pain!0

I may be logic but DO REMEMBER TO TURN OFF THE WATER BEFORE YOU DISCONNECT THE HOSE otherwise you will have a lot of water going everywhere.
I do not post this to be funny but I have known a lot of people that forgot to do it with the fall out they did not want.0
