Installing double glazing in leasehold flat

Hello, in a bit of a quandary here

I purchased a leasehold flat when I was younger and naively installed double glazing without the freeholders consent. I extended my leasehold last year without any problems...what are my options now in regards to the double glazing and the conveyancing if I wish to sell the flat on?

1. Contact freeholder and retrospectively ask for permission for the double glazing?
2. Mention nothing?
3. Apply now for permission to install double glazing?

    Probably safest to say nothing and offer to pay for an indemnity insurance policy when you sell.

    We extended a leasehold house without permission. We looked at retrospective permission but the lease management wanted silly money so, we put it on the market and waited to see what would happen. There was absolutely nothing mentioned about it, we completed over three months ago so think that we are unlikely to now.
