Hello.
Does anyone know the best place and indeed if it is possible to obtain a standard tenancy agreement document?
Currently rent out a house through an agency but considering going direct with the tenant and doing away with the agent.
Thanks

Assuming England/Wales there is a model tenancy agreement available from the government for free. Do read the notes in full though as it is intended for tenancies of longer than 2 years. If you want 6 or 12 month fixed terms it tells you how to adjust it to give you those shorter periods

Just remember there is no such thing as standard, so read it carefully...0

You don't need a new tenancy agreement just because you're going to sack the letting agent. The tenant has always had a contract with you that doesn't change just because you no longer use an agent.
You should write to the tenant though giving them the new address for the serving of notices and the bank details of where the rent should be paid.0 -
Join the RLA or NLA. Both have TAs.
Google 'plain english tenancy agreement'.
Try the gov one.
Oh, and read:

* Letting agents: how should a landlord select or sack?0 -

So, if you want fully shot of agent you probably have to evict tenant and/or get him genuinely to move out for a few days...
I ain't defending this, merely pointing it out...0 -
