White or off-white paint for bedroom?

Hello. I have just wallpaper a bedroom and i am looking for a bit of paint inspiration for my bedroom make over.

According to the compass on my phone, the window in the bedroom is south facing. My idea (though not 100 percent) is to paint 1 wall as a feature wall and paint the other wall white or off -wall colour to make the room.

I have so many white and off-white paint in my head but don't know which will be best or complement the paint I choose for the feature wall. The paints that are coming to me are: pure brilliant white, jasmine white, almond white, supermatte white, timeless white, absolute white and so on.

Any advice would be appreciated.

We've done Natural Calico in one bedroom, skirting has been done in brilliant white (water based so it doesn't go yellow). Inside of the window has been painted white too.

Feature wall with Laura Ashley wallpaper.

It is a four wall bedroom.
For the feature wall, I am thinking some type of gray. Maybe symphony steel 2

Best bet is to get some testers and try them, some of them sound lovely but look hideous, or just wrong in a particular room.
We've got ivory lace (lost lake feature on the chimney breast), which is actually under the 'yellow' dulux section through most of downstairs, white in the kitchen extension, barley white in the S/ E double aspect sunroom, mineral mist in our bedroom (S facing) and I think we just did baby room in ivory lace (well it's a neutral colour anyway)

If you want a grey wall then your choice of white is going to be Brilliant White or a grey based white.

Dulux will give you colour matches on their own website. I would head for a colour on the other walls, even if it is relatively pale. Bright white (including hints of) in a south facing room is going to have you up with the larks!

Get some testers but, rather than painting the wall, paint large pieces of lining paper. That way you can move it around to see how it looks on the various walls and also the previous wall colour will not affect the colour.

Thanks for the comments so far.

Another thing I wanted to know is that, I used those paintable wallpaper for my 4 wall so question is, do I have to apply a Base coat or under coat first before I can finally put the top coat on or can I just paint the top coat on without applying undercoat or Base coat.

Pardon my ignorance. What do you mean by "up with the larks"? Cambridge dictionary says up early. Do you mean bright white is too bright then?

I would recommend Valspar Tidy White. It has a hint of grey in it but is bright and clean looking without being as harsh as white.
We've done a couple of rooms in it now and I want to do more!
