As above, this update fails and keeps failing when I re-try, been like this for a couple of weeks. Laptop is a Compaq intel Celeron cpu 2.00ghz, 4GB ram.
This laptop was already slow, so have done a recovery back to new install, but already on the first attempt at windows update this update fails again. When I google this update their is lots off fixes and downloads, but when I google the downloads, they all seem to be dodgy. So, can anybody recommend a safe download, or a step by step guide.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
It may be linked to Windows Defender...
A conflict with some other A/V and Defender is turned off and cannot update. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
As mentioned I have done a new install, so all that's on their is windows 10, plus the 1st attempt doing the update.
Any more help, please..............0 -

That looks more like a Windows Error Code than a KB file. Does your machine have Nvidia graphics? I think that error code has been associated with incompatible Nvidia drivers. Maybe try updating the video driver as part of your investigations.0
